Name our baby daughter contest

What’s in a name?  Not too much.  To me it is just a moniker that you love.  I don’t think it will make or break a kid.  I hope to high heaven that my kid wouldn’t fail in life just because of  a name.  I hope to higher heaven that I raise stronger children than...

Sweet Violet

If you like photoshop actions you must try Sonia’s Bohemian Secret.  So much fun to play with. Violet is covered in the Heirloom Receiving Blanket which she was received in 2 years ago and still uses today.  I designed this collection especially for her.  Now it is time to design some new pieces for our unborn daughter.

Crazy boys

Landon took these photos of Riley while I was not home.  This is the reason boys end up in the ER more than girls.  Thank goodness there were no major injuries in this event.

The naming

Thank you to everyone that cheered with me at the news of baby girl.  After 7 brothers and 5 sons I am programmed to expect boys.  As much as I adore boys, I did secretly hope for a girl.  Many of you have asked… Yes of course I share everything, including the naming of our unborn daughter. ...

Daughter number four

I am happy to say that the unborn is a GIRL!  This is the first time I will have girls close in age.  A little sister to wear Violet’s pretty hand-me-downs.  WOOHOO!

My Sunday afternoon

It was a beautiful, sunny day.  I finally convinced my skeptical Levi that it was a good idea for me to acquire an iphone.   He was skeptical because my phones usually end up in the washing machine. I walked out of the phone store the proud owner of this lovely gadget.  It was a good day. ...
