35 weeks with Violet

I was going through photos and found this one taken 2 years ago of Violet at 35 weeks.  Perhaps it is the angle, but my belly looks bigger here.  Kind of fun to compare.  Apparently my shirt was a little small.

35 weeks

My canon is giving me error 99 so this time I was forced to use the iPhone camera.  The snapshots turned out quite fuzzy, which is fine with me.  You can see Hazel is still posterior in the 2nd photo.  Right now baby Hazel weighs about 5 lbs and is around 18 inches long. A...

Wyatt’s tooth

An exciting & somewhat traumatic moment for this little boy.  After hanging by a thread for days his tooth is finally out.  Another reminder that my little fellow is growing up.  They change so much once they get their big teeth. I can clearly remember losing my first teeth.  Uncles, aunts & cousins begging to let...

Staying cool

The Pacific Northwest is in the midst of heat wave.  Without air conditioning I would surely die.  The little ones have been staying cool in the cow tank.   This cow tank as a kiddie pool is an excellent notion.  Sturdy and….sturdy. Lampshade upgrade

I love slipcovers.  They are a perfect solution for a boring home depot shade & so simple to make. Not that the “before” is bad, it’s just not the look I am going for in the master bedroom.  I wanted something softer, more romantic. Step by Step instruction for dummies, because it takes one to...

Cloud Dress & Linen Bloomer

I love everything about this photo from Andrea Hallett Photography!  The texture of the beautiful hat by Three Fish Shop & the darling little shoes by Mia Joie compliment the eden’s bouquet Cloud Dress & Linen Bloomer perfectly. And the model with her dark curls, so sweet!

Long Beach, Wa

The landscaper’s announcement that they were seeding the dirt yard prompted our last minute trip to the ocean.  I decided it would be easier to leave than to try to keep the children out of the way on a hot day.  Levi left at 3am to go fishing so it was just me and the...
