She is closer to 4.5 months now. We are savoring every minute with this baby girl. Such a sweet little thing and she is always showing off those dimples. It is so easy to mother them at this age.
For me, there is something different about being an older mother. I fret more and I cherish more. Not that I didn’t cherish the moments as a young mom, I was just more carefree, zipping through life without worry, with a baby on each hip. In my 19 years of mothering I have learned things that only experience can teach. Perhaps that’s why I fret more. And cherish more.
